About the course
First Aid at Work, Level 3, 3 Day Course
Essential life-saving skills over three days, in compliance with workplace safety standards, along with additional input on catastrophic bleeds and how to deal with them.
Compliant with all workplace health and safety requirements.
The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) is written for learners who want to become first aiders at their place of work, and covers the vital skills to give prompt and effective first aid. It meets the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements for training first aiders in organisations whose first aid needs assessment identifies training to this level, and approves your first aiders to give first aid for three years, after which they retake the course.
All organisations are required by law to have enough employees holding a valid first aid certificate. Employers must make sure their provision is 'adequate and appropriate in the circumstances', deciding what the organisation needs by assessing its specific work hazards and making sure enough equipment, facilities and people are available to deal with the consequences.
