About us

Stewardship. Leadership. Service.

Our ethos is simply

Putting people first

“Security, and previously policing, have always been about the people for me.

The people you’re there to protect, the people you work alongside, and the people who place their trust in you.

That same principle sits at the heart of BPS.

We put our clients and principals first, but we also put our own people first, because the standard of service we provide will always be shaped by the people we trust to deliver it.

The vast majority of our operators come from public service backgrounds, with many having served in specialist and highly demanding roles across policing, the military and emergency services. Others have built their careers within the private security sector and bring considerable specialist experience of their own.

What matters to us is not simply where somebody has come from, but the standards they carry with them: professionalism, humility, judgement, discretion and an understanding of what it means to serve others.

Stewardship. Leadership. Service.

Those words reflect how we believe a security company should operate.

Stewardship means taking responsibility for the trust placed in us. Leadership means setting the standard ourselves, particularly when nobody is watching. Service means remembering that, ultimately, this profession is about looking after people.

That philosophy influences every decision we make, from the operators we select and the training we deliver, through to the way we advise, support and protect our clients.

We are based in England and operate globally, but wherever we are working, our approach remains the same: understand the requirement, select the right people, remain discreet and deliver the standard we said we would.

Trust is difficult to earn and very easy to lose.

We never take it for granted.”

How we work

Four things every client can rely on

  1. Discretion

Our people are trained to operate discreetly, all under signed NDAs, blending into the environment while providing the highest level of protection.

  2. Direct access

Clients can reach our teams 24/7, 365 days a year, through our 24 hour operations phones, for prompt responses and immediate support.

  3. Fewer, better people

Discreet communication and strategic positioning reduce the need for large security teams, achieving the same objectives with fewer resources.

  4. Service, not force

Unlike security teams that rely on force or intimidation, our operatives put customer service and respect first, so interventions are handled with discretion.

Training

Operational first, trainers second

With a management team made up of former specialist police operators, we bring operational expertise to the training environment. Because we are operational first and trainers second, our training is relevant, current and delivered with credibility.

We are both Highfield and Qualsafe registered, bringing two awarding bodies together so our delegates get not only the right training, but the right accreditation.
