About the course

Emergency First Aid at Work, Level 3

An intensive one-day course for you and your colleagues, covering all of the Emergency First Aid at Work specification, with additional input on catastrophic bleeds and how to deal with them, should you wish.

Compliant with all workplace health and safety requirements.

Having trained first aiders in your workplace is not just a legal requirement. It is a vital skill that can help colleagues and customers in the event of an accident or sudden illness, and can save lives. This Qualsafe course is written for learners who want to become first aiders at their place of work, and covers the vital skills to give prompt and effective first aid.

It meets the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements for training first aiders in organisations whose first aid needs assessment identifies training to this level. Your first aiders are approved to give first aid for three years, after which they retake the course.

In our delegates' words

“I recently attended an Emergency First Aid at Work course run by BPS. It was full on but really good. … They are really experienced and it shows! They have used first aid techniques in real life so this isn't just theoretical for them, and that's really important for this kind of training. I wouldn't hesitate to attend another course run by them.”
